Cardinal Compass has been playing in the Richmond area since May 2011. This three-piece band has an indie Americana sound frequently compared to Grace Potter and Neko Case. The band is shaped largely by the songwriting of guitarist and singer Hannah Standiford. Jake Ziemba lends a unique sound with his fretless bass while drummer Matt Wild brings driving rhythms on the drum set.
